About Us

We met at school and following university, we set up Paragon Gardens together in 2002. Personal recommendation has been the key to our growth since then. Typically, customers emphasise the quality of our designs and workmanship, our strong work ethic and the overall value for money that we offer.  Clients also stress how open to discussion we are during design and construction, which allows them to stay in control of the process and end up with the garden they really want.

As well as creating gardens from our own designs, we have built scores of designs by local garden designer Katherine Roper and by the Hegarty Webber partnership. We have also completed three large scale construction projects for RHS Chelsea Flower Show Gold Medal winner Andy Sturgeon. Andy, Katherine and Hegarty Webber are three of the designers who will only recommend us to build their designs in the South West. We also work in partnership on major projects with Moon Architecture.

In addition to his work with Paragon Gardens, Dave appeared in the TV programmes Garden SOS and Garden Invaders, on which he was the Head Builder, working with Andy Sturgeon, Joe Swift and Charlie Dimmock. John has recently completed designs for two large gardens at a newly built old people's home in Hamamatsu, Japan.

Small and simple or large and complex, our attention to detail is the same on every project. The sight of a beautiful garden, newly finished and built to last is our great motivation.
